Each year Roane County Cooperative Ministries (RCCM) encourages our community to grow a vegetable garden and provides assistance to those who need it.  A vegetable garden not only provides fresh, nutritious produce for our tables, but it can also save you money, provide some exercise and provide an activity to enjoy with your children.  Last year was a bad year for many gardens due to heavy rains shortly after planting.  If it was your first attempt, don’t give up.  It will likely be well worth it!

Volunteers will be available to provide garden grants beginning the 4th of April from 9 AM until noon and then every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday until the funds are exhausted.

This year these grants are possible through the generous donations of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingston.
